Method:
- Sift
together all dry ingredients 1 to 3. Add Maypole and blend
to a paste on slow speed
- Mix
together 5&6 and add to above over one minute on slow
speed
- Scrape
down and switch to medium for six minutes
- Add
half of 7 and essences slowly on first speed and blend in
- Sift
together 11&12 and add to the batter on slow speed
- Mix
until the flour is nearly cleared and add remaining milk
- Scrape
down and mix for a further 30 seconds
